Extra income can be made on the internet, especially if you are optimistic and determined. Any extra income I can bring into the family financial tree... - More Ways to Earn Money Online
I wrote a hub awhile back about different ways to earn money on the internet and just recently found...
Many people dislike completing surveys simply because they can be boring and generate very little income. I was on Web Answers reading questions that people ask about online income, specifically completing surveys. One woman said her husband made $1400.00 in one month doing surveys! I thought that sounded unbelievable because I've been doing them for quite a few months now and have never been even close to making that much money.
I stay away from survey sites that ask you to buy something, although I have taken some opportunities to earn money (or points) by accepting free trial offers or by getting quotes for life or car insurance. I always cancel before the free trial period runs out and am charged a monthly payment. The problem with these types of offers is you do have to give your credit card information then trust the company to cancel before they begin to charge you.
I am going to list 5 safe survey sites that I have made money on. They are legitimate because I've used them and have redeemed points or dollars, therefore I know if they pay out like they say they will. I have a pretty good idea how long before your actual points are approved after taking the survey and how long it takes to receive your check or gift card.
1.) Opinion Outpost: This is one of my favorite survey sites. This company seems to have surveys available almost daily although you do have to prequalify, as you do with any survey you take. The reasons I like them are: 1.) You don't always have points pending; many times they'll approve your survey right off the bat. Some companies will take weeks to approve your survey. 2.) Another reason I like Opinion Outpost is the quick availability of your money. They send you a check quickly if you choose to redeem your points for a check. It only takes a week to 10 days to receive it in the mail. 3.) For checks you must earn at least $20.00. I can earn this amount in a month easily. You can, however, redeem with $15.00 and receive a Citi Bank gift card, although they do keep a fee of $1.50, and you end up with only $13.50. I prefer to work a little longer for the check.
2.) My View: This company is also a safe survey site. You earn points for your completed surveys (thousands) and if you don't qualify, they'll give you 125 points. They add up rather quickly so you're making money even if you don't do the survey. 1.) You don't have to wait for your points to be approved. Some companies take a month or more! 2.) You don't have the option to redeem for a check or pay pal, but you can redeem for gifts cards. 3.) You will receive your gift card in less than 2 weeks. I've redeemed 36,000 points for a $25.00 Applebees Gift Card more than once and received it within 10 days.
3.) Opinion Rewards (also known as Opinion Square): This is also one of those companies that pay out quickly. 1.) They'll approve your points quickly. 2.) If you don't qualify for a survey they have a scratch-off game where you earn points. I earn either 25 or 50 points for doing nothing if I don't qualify for the survey. 3.) You redeem for gift cards. I always choose restaurant gift cards so we can eat out for free.
4.) My Survey: My Survey seems to always have surveys available. They don't always email you to let you know so I check with them almost daily. 1.) They pay quickly via pay pal. 2.) Your points aren't pending for weeks on end. 3.) They have a low cash out threshold. It is only $10.00 compared to other companies that are at least $20.00.
5.) Only Cash Surveys: This company is a safe survey site that I work for on a regular basis to earn income online. There are more $3.00, $4.00 and $5.00 surveys than most of the other survey sites that I work for. 1.) After qualifying you can rack up enough to redeem in just a few weeks. Their cash out threshold is $20.00. 2.) They pay via pay pal so you have to open a pay pal account. 3.) The warning on this one is they take up to a month to approve and deposit your money.

I have used MySurvey and have received good results from them also. Thanks for the information about the other sites.
Thanks for this hub. I liked how you titled it safe survey sites. There's so many out there.
Do you earn more from writing hubs than surveys? When surveys get boring, I write =)
At first I want to congratulate you about your useful hub it’s really so interesting in every level and I’m agree with you that online surveys is the easy way to make maney (or same extra maney ) but in your hub you don’t explain why all the surveys companies spend all these maney to have the opinion of the population? and what is the gain of surveys companies from all his activities which allow to users to make maney?
I have tested some of these sites and they do pay. Taking surveys was the first method I used to make money online. I am glad that I tried it. I may never have found the methods I use today!
Voted up!
;)
