Earn Extra Money on the Internet
By SusieQ42
Extra income can be made on the internet, right from your very own computer! To do this you must be optimistic and determined. Any extra income I can bring into the family financial tree is an asset for us. It wasn't until I was laid off from my full time job that I began to seek out ways to earn some extra money. I began to search the internet on my computer for ways to do it and I would like to share some of my findings with you.
Surveys:
The first thing I did was pull up a list of online marketing research companies. I began by registering with around 20 companies. I found that most of them paid you $5.00 just by registering. This was a good starting point, although for most you can't redeem until you reach a certain point. For some it was $20.00, for some $50.00. After registering with my 20 companies and getting to know more about them, I started scaling down. I found there were many that wanted you to buy something in order to make money. I'm not interested in using my credit card in order to make money. I quickly deleted those accounts. (yes, I gave up my $5.00 for registering, but that's okay. No sense in wasting my time.) Now I'm down to about 10 or so companies.
The ones that I have found to be most credible and rewarding are: Reward Point, My Points, My Survey, Surveyhead, Opinion Outpost, Opinion Rewards, Focusline Surveys, Global Opinions and Only Cash Surveys. It wasn't long after I started that I was redeeming my points for either cash or gift cards.

Asking and Answering Questions:
My next endeavor was to join Webanswers. I love this site because you can make money in 2 ways. One is to answer questions and if your answer is chosen as a favorite, you make money. The other is to ask questions, then choose your favorite answer. There are a multitude of categories to choose from. Some you can answer by doing a little online research, other are purely from the heart or personal experience. I love their miscellaneous category because I can not only answer questions but I seek out information about online sites where I can make extra income. If I see that someone is making money at an internet site I bookmark my webanswers page and check out the site. You have to have a Google Adsense account to get paid.
Article Writing:
I learned about Hubpages when reading answers on Webanswers. I not only write articles for Hubpages, but I also write for Textbrokers. This company is great about giving you a lot of work and they pay out quickly to your pay pal account, with only a $10.00 pay out scale. Payouts are by midnight each Thursday.
Reading and Rating Articles:
I didn't quit looking. I joined Readbud just a while ago and am finding it to be very interesting and informative. I get on my computer, go to their website, and read articles and rate them. After registering you must choose up to 50 topics of interest, then you start receiving offers to read and rate articles. Most of the time you only get 4 or 5 articles to read, but I keep going back every few hours and find more offers. Experience required...none. Only that you know how to read. (Just want you to know that the closer you get to the pay off limit, the fewer articles you will get to read and rate. The pay out limit is $50.00 and I have $48.00 in my account. Readbud has given me only one or two articles to rate in a weeks time!)
Blogs:
I found another way to make money online by reading answers on Webanswers. I decided to try my hand at blogging. I now have 4 blogs on bloggers.com that is hooked up with Google adsense. (see the link below) Hope you'll visit! (Google Adsense keeps 40% of your earnings.)

Online Stores:
Imagine having your very own store right on your computer! Amazon will allow you to open your own online stores. You can open as many stores as you want and include a wide variety of products to sell. My store can be found at http://astore.amazon.com/hubpages090f4-20.
Amazon will let you open 100 stores if you want and there's no limit to how many items you can sell in each. Once you get your store set up there's very little to do. I have deleted certain items and replaced them with something that I think will sell better, but I really don't spend much time there other than a quick check now and then. I earn anywhere between 6 and 10% of my sales and if my referrals set up their own stores, I earn from them too. I link to Google Adsense, Facebook, Twitter and also advertise on my blogs.

You're welcome. Appreciate you're taking the time to read my hub!
Hi Susie,
This is a good source of information you have here on this hub about earning extra money on the internet. I enjoyed reading it and I like watching the video as well. I agree webanswers is a cool site and I like it. Another site I have been earning extra money is; Paid to view Advertisements http://bux.to/?r=Brinafr3sh the key is to click daily. Thank you
Hi Brina! Are you the person who told me about textbroker and Word Linx? I'm working on both those sites. Guess I'll have to check out Bux.to also. Thanks for reading!
I just bookmarked this hub cos i surely will have further use of it. So elaborate, simple and easy to understand. Voted useful, interesting, awesome and beautiful. Thanks
Thank you once again for the support! I'm glad you can get some use from the info above. Your votes mean so much to me. I will do the same for you! Yours, Susieq42
These are all great ideas for earning money on the internet. I also write articles on both HubPages and InfoBarrel, answer questions on WebAnswers, and have a blog. Together, these are great ways to earn a little extra money every month!
I see you on Web Answers every now and then, Deborah. I make most of my money writing articles for Text Broker, which I started in late July. My surveys are also paying pretty good, but not every month. Thanks for reading.
Very nice hub. You gave me some inspiration to return to my blog! Voted up.
My blogs aren't doing that great right now but I love them and am not willing to give up! Nor shall I give up on Hub Pages. You just watch and see what the Lord can do!
from my experience i rate hubpages as number one and all others are optional
Yes, Hub Pages is a great experience!
I haven't opened an Amazon store but I am an associate. This is one tip that I will look into more. Great money making ideas SusieQ42!
Voted UP!
Genesis, it's fun setting up a store! You can open more than one. I hope it works well for you.
This was a great hub, and I found it by reading your second hub on this topic and coming over here. I am trying to find new ways to earn on the internet because I don't get paid in the summer as I work in a school and have a 10 month position, but the bill still come in during the summer months so I need extra income to help with that. Thanks so much for these tips. I am going to head over to textbrokers and webanswers now. By the way, have you reached payout on Readbud yet?
OOPS, forgot to ask if you've checked out Epoll.com? I wrote a hub about it. You answer surveys for free gift cards. I like it as much as Mypoints but the surveys are fewer.
Hi Karen. I haven't been working on Readbud lately. I reached around $48.00 and the articles stopped coming in. I can't remember if I checked out EPoll or not. I was doing a lot of surveys but now my work is centered on writing here on HP and Textbroker.
That's awful about Readbud. Sounds like a gimmick then. They lead you on and people can't actually reach payout maybe?
